Rest in Peace Steve Jobs

Although it was not unexpected, I was quite shocked tonight when I read of the sad news.
One can love Apple or one can hate Apple (or it's fanboys), but one cannot but concede that Steve Jobs changed the world of computing and of devices radically. By one way or the other we all have been influenced by his ideas.

Indeed. And not only that, in between, he has also managed to change the world of cinema with a little studio called Pixar.
He will be missed.

And NeXT...
bq. Apple CEO Gil Amelio started negotiations to buy Be Inc., but negotiations stalled when Be CEO Jean-Louis Gassée wanted $200 million; Apple was unwilling to offer any more than $125 million. Apple's board of directors decided NeXTSTEP was a better choice and purchased NeXT in 1996 for $429 million, bringing back Apple co-founder Steve Jobs.

Sometimes is very confusing and hard to understand why life is kind of unfair, bad guys have long and healthy lives, and good people usually have to pass because of a disease...
Steve's life is very inspiring...bq. He will be missed.

we will miss you.... especially the way you present a new device... and your vision about gadget...

I don't love especially Apple but we will miss Steve Jobs's greats ideas :/

You are right. I am not at all a fan of apple (and worst of the iBoys), but he was a brillant man and his death is a big loss for our society.
