Error while building project Squiggly (target: Desktop)

I am new to Qt and started playing with a SourceForge (Squiggly, a spell-checker plug-in for Notepad++) project I'd like to compile.

The only thing I get is:
@Error while building project Squiggly (target: Desktop)
When executing build step 'qmake'@

The Qt creator does not tell me exactly what happen or the error is. Does it not find qmake.exe or is there a problem with the project files?

I assumed that qmake.exe is just not found and so I added c:\sdks\qt\desktop\qt\4.7.4\msvc2008\bin\ to the PATH environment variable. When I type qmake into a command prompt window it works. But Qt creator still gives me above message when I build the project.

What else does it mean?

Just select "Projects" on the left side of the IDE:

Build settings
Qt version: Set the version you like/need
