[Solved] Qt Designer, MainWindow Layout

Hi,

i have this problem every time when i start a new project in Qt Creator, usually i found the solution via search engine so i know its out there, but i didn't find it this time:

How can i change the layout of the main window in Qt Designer?

When i do it as it is described in the docs, to click the top node and change the layout, i have the problem, that the layout buttons and layout menus are grayed out. What do i have to do to change them?
