    Hi all,

My Chrome browser logs me into this forum just fine, but I'm having trouble on Microsoft Edge 40.15063.0.0 (using Microsoft EdgeHTML 15.15063)

When I click the "Login" button at the top of any forum page, instead of the username + password fields, I get:

    Internal Error.
Oops! Looks like something went wrong!

Does anyone else have this issue? @tekojo ?

@JKSH Confirmed broken for me on edge in win10 as well...

But this just confirms you should not use microsoft products. :P

          @JKSH

You actually want to use edge ? o.O

we have had more issues with that pos then all the years with internet explorer
          combined.

Ps. I like many of MS products and win 10 is my main platform but Edge is a difficult new child.

Can confirm, that this "new" browser is PITA. Had a lot of things that did not work with that browser but do in all other non-MS browsers

A workaround: reload (F5) when you're on the "Oops" page.

Good find, @Chris-Kawa! I wonder what's happening here.

Anyway, the purpose of this thread is to alert the Qt Company: There might be potential community members who might be unable to post in this forum, due to this issue. Regardless of whose fault it is, let's find a way to help those users get on board.

that could be a big problem as soon as microsoft releases Windows 10S ...

@JKSH I saw a thread where @ollipuu replied to it (unfortunately he is now on vacation).
There is something strange going on with Edge.

I could ask @jukka about it, but he is probably overworked right now.

Interesting tested on Windows 10 64 bit with newest updates

First copied link from Chrome https://login.qt.io/unread and got the same message as JKSH
At that point forum was still logged in on Chrome.

Logged out of forum in Chrome F5 and copied and pasted "https://login.qt.io/" to Edge and this time it worked. I cannot reproduce the inital error anymore.

Logged in Chrome and Edge does not show the error anymore. Probably because of the internal buffer?

                          Microsoft Edge 40.15063.0.0
