In the devnet home page, I see a New Posts link right under my username on the right, if I click on it, it showed some random post links in the search result, with just 9 posts, some very old. You might want to fix this

It is really strange. I'm using these link every time I'm visiting DevNet starting from my first day here and it always shows posts that were created or commented after my last visit. Maybe you can provide some more info?

DevNet developers will say more accurate, but I think new posts are based not on what you've opened but on your last visit time. I.e. it shows only posts that are created or commented on date later than date of your last visit.

I can confirm Denis is right. It's literally "Posts since last visit".

BTW, if you guys have any ideas of often used links that would be nice to have in the profile boxes (where you find the "new posts" link today, and the top of the personal column on the right) please let me know. We're having a look at those shortly.

I don't think profile box should receive additional links, better to leave it small. But in Forum menu something like "new answers to my posts" can be added (link that will show updated user posts or posts commented by this user).

ok i agree with the "New Posts" behavior ...

for the profile box, how about "recent wiki entries", "new faqs" ...
am racking my brains on what else could be useful in the profile box

Don't let us stop you. We're listening. :)

I like the idea of recent wiki etries. We have to think about how that page could look like.

Would something like new FAQs really make sense? Are you actually reading those? I thought they would be useful if you're looking for a solution to a specific problem. No?
