Yes, the connection is secure. For what it's worth, the problem persists only on iOS. I seem to be able to post from an Android tablet, and any desktop/laptop of course...

And perhaps you have some 3rd-party content-blocker and it messes around with the forum. Although, I have 1Blocker installed.

I have JavaScript enabled and cookies allowed from websites I visit. Changing the cookie policy to more strict allowing cookies from the current website only doesn't seem to change anything.

A little bit more than one year after, we can see the interest of ask users question about the UI of the forum...
And finally, why ask questions if this serve nothing ? (i'm not sure, but... it looks like it served nothing).

a footer is a place who is free from main page entry. It is very confortable to have kind of conveniant links in a fix place easy to access... that is the way to use footer in a page. But... who doesn't know that ? Admin is a important people for a forum or a web site... i can not understand why you ask question about "why would you like admin in every page ?". It is like i ask you "Why you don't want a responsable human link to be able to be contacted on every page ?". Also, it is not so difficult to add a fix place on page for embed a footer... it can be a fix little place down the page with a kind of open/close on mouse hover.

White front chars on black background has two advantages: 1/save energies (because of laptop screen consume much more for provide white light than no light... 2/ big light is not good for eyes. It is not something subjective like "i like" or "i not like", it is a fact.
i mean that... it looks like painting and change UI is fashion. It is fashion because it was good before that allready, and instead of add/remove little by little (who is also conveniant for users by not change all in one time), change every-thing is like young people does without care about other users. Id don't know why... maybe for said... "hey look... i done it...", or what more ? If really you care about users, why change before to ask ? there is no logic with this kind of practice i think. It is fashion because it is now like that everywhere (it was not).

a good search engine and a tree classification who can be visual is most of the time very effective. There is no need examples, a good search engine is an engine internal who point on subject title and tags (with ability to select sort method: tags/titles). And everybody who do development knows what is a tree.

2/ Individual responsibility is linked to the obligations which must be readable somewhere ... otherwise the word itself "responsibility" no longer makes sense. There is words that can not exist before other ones. You can not judge of responsibility of someone without a law in the background. If this law is not accessible by people, arg for responsibility of people will become a non-sens.

7/ Google is not Qt. And what if i don't want to be referenced on Google ? do i have obligation to use Google and why ? Is it relation with a kind of "reduction of investment in a forum Qt project" method ?

The usability has changed for search things and i feel like i was more free before. Now i feel like ask question after change things is a kind of modern political communication who don't really care about users in fact. That is my feeling one year after.
I think it is better in respectfull practice to ask before to change (first), and care about users ask (really care).

When I replied, I was trying to say: "Each person who writes a post should provide a good title, so that other people can understand what the post asks before the read the post."

A forum's UI cannot make people write good titles.

Sorry, I don't understand. Can you please give an example of a forum which has good classification/sorting that you like? (Or, can you draw a picture to show us?)

The old forum used Google for searching, you know...

But anyway, if you don't want Google, you can use other search engines, like Bing or DuckDuckGo. DuckDuckGo is a good search engine if you care about privacy.

2/ Sure a Ui can not construct a title in place of people... it may have an other idea, people can not (and me to) be soooo stupid fr thinking that Ui can make people write e good title.

6/ blender forum, really, you absolutly need some examples, without you can not understand what is tree organisation, tags searching words,... really ?

Yes, there is also Yacy (P2P engine browser). I use duckduckgo allready, it is not the subject here. Read your answer, it really looks like you run away all the time. It is boring.
