Detect & get web page change on the fly?

Dear all,

I am trying to develop QWebView where some error of Non-unicode text are converted to Unicode Text.
I made conversion algorithm, but the problems in some web pages such as facebook.com, Gmail.

In Gmail Chat, Chat messages, status messages are not included in Html of QWebView at the time of loading.
They are changing with the time. How can I detect & change such contents of Web page.
In Firefox, there is a plug-in that can convert in such condition, I don't know how it works...

hi,
If it's done by the firefox plugin it is mostly done by JavaScript. You could try to do the same by running evaluateJavaScript(..) for every QWebFrame and it's subframes. (m_webView->page()->mainFrame()->evaluateJavaScript() )

or at the other hand you may try to use QNetworkAccessManager to get the reply before it's provided to QWebPage and change it there.
