By definition "here":http://developer.qt.nokia.com/badges I'm supposed to be a Group owner and a Beta Tester too, but they do not show up. Thread Master and Groupie do show up though ... :)

You can choose which two badges show up for you. Go to the Edit profile page, and at the bottom of the list of things you can change, you can find this feature. This is by design.

The system allows only two badges be visible at the same time. If I understood correctly, you should have some kind of options to decide which two badges you want to have visible, if you have more than two badges. Though I don't have any badges myself, so I can't say for sure is such control options implemented already.

I guess the "badges page":http://developer.qt.nokia.com/badges could do with a line or two explaining this, yes.

You mean this here <nitpickmode on>

bq. The automated badges should all be assigned already, the manual ones need some attention by yours truly. You can set your favorite two for display in the forums in your profile settings. All your badges are displayed on your profile page.

Volker, I clearly missed that statement ... wonder with all those feeds one subscribes too, would one really "read" stuff or just end up "skimming" through them :(

I thought we were talking about this:
ah but how will users know that this can be changed from their profile. I missed this instruction
In that snippet you quote from Alexandra's blog, there is nothing to be found about having to choose in your profile which badges to display.

It was said earlier that it will be part of your profile. And perhaps, she also let some stuff to the user, as we also do :-)
