I'm working on a Slideshow toolkit in QML that might be of interest to anyone working on presentations. It is available on Github at https://github.com/pkobrien/qml-slideshow. The tutorial has a number of example slides that demonstrate how to use the system. Feedback and feature requests would be greatly appreciated.
