    Hi,
    quoting Tero

The ‘thread tools’ at the bottom of a thread let the poster or moderators ‘mark a thread as solved’. This will add a ‘Solved’ tag to the post in the category view to help people find solved posts easily.

I don't have any "thread tools", only "topic tools" which allow me only to delete a post.
Adding a "solved" tag doesn't mark as solved.

Am I blind or what ?
    Thanks

Maybe I really did get blind by the pale green chosen for the forum. :)
      Guys, it's unreadable !

@mcallegari79 I think you can add to Header this string : " [SOLVED] " or =) "[RESOLVED]"
In this topic it will be looked like "Mark thread as solved [SOLVED]"
        I am not sure

@jalomic that's not an answer, nor a solution.
Please take a look at some solved threads before replying.

Here is what I see in the "Topic tools".
              Mark Solved

Do you see any of the items in this menu?

What jalomic said works. The forum software auto detects the "[Solved]" syntax in the title and shows a nice dark grey 'solved' flag on the right.

@andreyc Only users with high reputation have the tools to moderate a thread.

                    @Wieland please define "high reputation"
Doesn't sound fair to me though. I am not trying to moderate somebody else's thread, but mine !

@mcallegari79 Don't know the exact number for the new forum; was quite high on the old one ^_^ I think things will improve over the next weeks as the community manager and front end developer are aware of this and some other issues and working on them.

High reputation is about 100 for now. But that is essentially for moderator rights across the forums, not for single topic moderation.

I agree that there is an issue with managing your own topics. I'm looking into writing a small plugin for the topic owner to add a solved tag to the thread. Editing the topic to add the [Solved] text is cumbersome.

Our front end developer will be back from paternity leave very soon. Until then we'll live with small tweaks.
