[Suggestion] Add information about moderator action
-
I see when a moderator change something in a thread there isn't a message about what moderator have done (some user add manually at the end of the post some info).
And i see if a moderator delete a post there isn't a email message to a user that inform his post is delete.Maybe a line text about some info is useful and maybe this line can use for send email to user.

This is a good idea. What about creating an issue in "JIRA":http://bugreports.qt.nokia.com/secure/Dashboard.jspa ?

I return on this thread.
Today a user cross-post the same message to all devenet.
For me the correct way is keep the first post and delete all other copy paste post that the same user have posted and with a idea that i post on this thread, write a sentence 'please don't create cross-post'
The system send by email to the user the message.
What do you think? -
Hm. If the thread is an exact copy of what has been posted somewhere else, it should be deleted. Cross-posting the same thing all over the place is annoying.
I don't think it will happen often enough to develop a special feature for it. I vote for deleting the duplicates and leaving a comment in the remaining thread that cross-posting is a no-no.

Sounds interesting.

The cross posts have been deleted. Only "this topic":http://developer.qt.nokia.com/forums/viewthread/5791 is left over.
