Insecure authentication to Qt forum

It appears from the URL that the authetication is not secure. Is it true, if so could it be made secure.

IIRC there have been issues with the secure mode in the past. Some browsers gave warnings, because some content of the pages are not secure.
I think that was the time when it was changed. Probably more a year back, when Alexandra was still in charge (Nokia time?).
