Is New Posts buggy

It seems there is a bug in the new posts number shown. I could see 3 new posts - but on clicking it there was only one post.

Please check if others are also facing this issue.

The new post on the home page has some caching in it, so it may not be 100 percent accurate.

hmm seems its displaying the number of posts in a particular thread even if its not new.

Definitely its a bug.

Would this be the reason we see messages like 200 new posts or such huge numbers.
