It would be very useful to have a forum watch feature that notifies you via email when someone starts a discussion or a thread. Any plans to add this feature ?

I am not so sure that would be useful. As soon as this board takes off a bit, you will be flooded with emails. An RSS feed may be nice though!

We have RSS feeds per board, have a look at the "forum front page":http://developer.qt.nokia.com/forums/.

Like this one for the Beta Testing board that I use to keep up with all the posts (don't want to miss anything you know): "http://developer.qt.nokia.com/feeds/forum/5":http://developer.qt.nokia.com/feeds/forum/5

We also have a global feed at "http://developer.qt.nokia.com/feeds/all_forums":http://developer.qt.nokia.com/feeds/all_forums but it's almost to much already, as Andre hints at.

Once you reply to a thread you get those e-mail alerts though.

Nice! RSS feeds are useful. Perhaps that feature should be advertised a little more? Nowhere on the forum page do I see an RSS link or see an RSS icon appear in my browser.

What's more, it might be nice to have a page where you can "compose" your own RSS link based on the topics you are interested in. You'd be generating an RSS link containing a query based on the forum(s), and perhaps based on tags or other properties.

If you go to the "Beta Testing forum":http://developer.qt.nokia.com/forums/viewforum/5/ there should be an RSS icon in the address bar. But I agree, we haven't made the most of it yet. :)
