Now domains are added to all urls. Maybe it will be better to add them only to that links, that contain description, not url itself?
    For example, this looks strange:
    "google.com":http://google.com
But in this two cases it of course helps:
    "Solution for your problem":http://some-spam-site.com

Isn't the whole idea of the system to hide the actual url to improve readability? As far as I know all browsers have a status bar that shows the target of the link you're hovering over. I think people here are smart enough to check the url (or referrer) before they click a link.

In addition to adding the domains in brackets we also enabled auto linking. Links that are linked up automatically doesn't get the brackets but all links added by textile code (or the link button) gets the domain added in brackets.

        http://developer.qt.nokia.com/forums/viewthread/1756/ (auto linked)

"http://developer.qt.nokia.com/forums/viewthread/1756/":http://developer.qt.nokia.com/forums/viewthread/1756/ (linked using the link button)

"this thread":http://developer.qt.nokia.com/forums/viewthread/1756/ (linked using the link button)

Having link domains in brackets adds a level of confidence when surfing around the forums and the wiki. I'm sure we're clever enough to avoid accidents most of the time, this feature is here to help out when we're lazy or just eager to get going. :)

Marius, I'm agreed with pros of this feature. But what about my suggestion? Sometimes it looks really weird.

It kind of makes sense to do a little check when the shown domain is equal to the actual domain. You don't need to add the actual domain then.

@Denis, Franzk: Adding Franzk logic sounds like a good idea, I'll check with the team.
