    After a proposal/question I made at

    http://developer.qt.nokia.com/forums/viewthread/117/#590

and the response from Alexandra Leisse at

    http://developer.qt.nokia.com/forums/viewthread/117/#592

I decided that it is a good idea to publish the proposal in the education/learning department, so that the TROLLs of the education/learning-department would be able to view and evaluate it as well:

Consider the possibility of extending the scope of the Qt Ambassador program (or of creating a similar education-oriented program) to include people who teach Qt in universities (or even high-schools?). For example, I teach “Human-Computer Interaction” course at a University and I use C++/Qt. I would like to apply for the Qt Ambassador program, since I believe that I promote the use of C++/Qt by teaching it at a university level, but I don’t currently have an open source/closed source project available to the public.

I like this idea - thanks!

Within the current scope of the Ambassador program, we open for students/researchers to post their projects. But I agree it would be nice to showcase what other Qt enthusiasts do to promote Qt by teaching and talking.

Since it has been almost 6 months from my proposal, do we have anything new on this direction?

            ya,

            Thanks, Hanne.

You have lighten the scope of Qt Ambassador Program.
As a developer we find good scope here.

We have unfortunately not moved any further in this direction yet.

New Year now, and a new planning phase is ongoing, so I will make sure we will we be discussing how and what can be done. Thanks for raising the topic again.
