design studio (not my app) mouse scrolling problem

Hi all,
Im in Qt Design Studio 4.3.1. Im running on Win10
The properties and components panel view have this awful behavior when scrolling with the mouse wheel. They flap about, like its applying some kind of acceleration then keeps scrolling when mouse wheel doesnt move. Im sure this could be a feature for smooth scrolling if used subtly, but its far from subtle in my case! It will often scroll 30 characters past where I expect. Sometimes it randomly bounces around also. Other panels for example the navigator panel and code view are completely uneffected and scroll as expected, therefore its clearly not my mouse.
I've looked over the preferences but I don't see anything.

There is no option and the next release should have this behavior sanitized.
