      As we can edit it, it would be nice to have power to remove them.

        at present only forum moderators can remove posts, you can always request a moderator to do it for you...
        marius could probably answer if this feature is being considered :)

          We discussed it a while back, landing on not being able to delete the post. The reasons are to conserve the flow of conversation. Even if you replace the content of your post with "(removed)" the post entry will be there so if some of the later posts in that thread doesn't make any sense what so ever you can see that there was an earlier post there before, and it was probably a reply to that.

          Hopefully that makes sense. :)
