New book on Qt and databases available in EPUB format

Logikal Solutions is proud to announce a new book on Qt and databases has been released in EPUB format as part of “The Minimum You Need to Know” book series. Currently it is available at Barnes & Nobel

    and Kobo

It should be available at Sony’s site very soon.

This book shows the nitty-gritty of developing with Qt using PostgreSQL, Firebird, and SQLite databases. It also shows the developer how to create BOTH console and GUI Qt applications. Readers are shown how to do development with Qt Designer, Qt Creator, Qdevelop, Monkey Studio, and Eclipse under KUbuntu. Like most of the titles in this series this book attempts to teach by repeatedly developing the same applications so even seasoned developers can learn from the differences each tool presents.

Please visit http://www.theminimumyouneedtoknow.com to find out information about this and other great titles in the series!

        Hmmm

I thought by default they gave the Intro chapter.

There certainly wouldn't be a technical chapter, I've learned my lesson there. I will look into it later today.

Did you also try BN.COM and Sony's ebook site?

          really good for newbies..

There is not now, nor has there ever been, nor will there ever be, any programming language in which it is the least bit difficult to write bad code.
