    The description is:
bq. Signed up before July 8th, 2010 and/or is a member of the DevNet Meta group
    I registered 8th July 14:15.
I know the logic, before is before, but maybe it could be extended to 8th July 2010 23:59 instead of 7th July 2010 23:59... ;)

I guess you are out of luck. However, there is an escape: get your points up, and become a DevNet moderator so you can join the DevNet Meta group.

Do we have to apply for this? Or is there an automatism?

It's not automatic. If you are interested, drop by on IRC on the freenode network on channel #qt-devnet-moderators or shoot a message to Alexandra

DevNet Meta is open for everyone, not only moderators. The there's a dedicated "Site Moderators" group for the blessed :-) The Meta group was quite quiet in the last months though (as were all other groups I'm in).
