Displaying specific image in qml map item

Hello
I was able to view offline maps with tiles (which I obtained from Maperitive tool) in the qml map item before and I was able to add markers on them.Now I want to display a ".png" image as like a map.The image is satellite image of as small as a football field.Also I want to add latitude and longitude information to the picture.
How should I approach to this kind of problem?Is there any example?
