Currently there are an awesome 9908 tags registered on Qt DevNet. StackOverflow is still in the lead with its around 30k tags, but almost 10k tags in such a short period of time is really great :)

Voted for both, hehe :) But it still lacks such features as autosuggestion, tag aliases and some others

I have voted that tags are keeping things organized. In general sense they do. However, i have noticed that the vast number of tags may be the result of an unclarity in what is important and how to tag.

For instance you can place a tag "qtableview" and "tableview". After seeing both are showing up that if you type "table" in the search form, one does not need both. Especially if all tags are starting with a 'q' is pointless.

If you use a tag, which makes it easy to find a thread on a topic for yourself, it might be hopeless you cannot control whether someone is going to delete.

While it is very positive to have tags :-)
there is some optimization possible ;-) .

Vote the answer(s) that helped you to solve your issue(s)

indeed there could be some cleanup of the tags following these "guidelines":http://developer.qt.nokia.com/wiki/Tagging
