I have noted that the number of posts seem to be inconsistent.
While it said "4 new posts" on my badge, it showed only one entry with two replies of the new post form. It was still showing then 4 posts on my badge.

I've noticed today that the results shown on the unread posts page are not in line with the number of unread posts being reported in my status.

For instance, my status currently shows 7 unread posts, but if I click on the status to take me to the unread posts page, there are no items shown. However, if I manually go to the Forum tab, I can see there are 3 or 4 unread posts which I can manually click through (and accurately lower my new posts count.)

Perhaps a problem with the "advanced search" which is tied to the new posts page?

          Hi,
I had that too, but after restarting my browser all went well.

There has been maintenance on 12:30 CET. maybe that's the reason.

EDIT : it went well for an hour and now i' have it back !!!

It goes up and down at the time.

What we see at the moment is probably due to the fixing activities.

Ah, well, very good. Sorry for the duplicate.
