More Editing tools for translation

In many cultures like Arabic culture we align all page contents right to left, so Wiki editor don't provide this feature.
-
This can be a features, now the wiki have the 'language' support only for the manul translation of the user.
-
I'd bet the Trolls would be happy if you leave them a suggestion in the "bug tracker":http://bugreports.qt.nokia.com, you find some advise on how to do this is in "this forum thread":http://developer.qt.nokia.com/forums/viewthread/5/
-
you may used css style for paragraphs. May be it help you. Example:
@p{text-align:right}.@ -
@p{direction:rtl;text-align:right}@
It looks pretty.p{direction:rtl;text-align:right}. Rtl paragraph test.
-
I added a hint in the "TextileSyntax":http://developer.qt.nokia.com/wiki/TextileSyntax wiki page.
-
Volker, As I understood any CSS may used in paragraph, or headers, or blockquotes, etc...
-
Vass, yepp, it's the way I understood that too. But changing to RTL might be something needed a bit more often than other CSS stuff (especially with the new regional groups and native language use). And we all are more accustomed to serious programming languages than to web design stuff, aren't we? :-)
-
Volker, Oh I have small business in Web. My small company create web sites and I unfortunately know CSS. :)
-
Maybe a useful combo box with a language of the wiki that you want create can be useful without setting more css.
For example when you create a wiki you select Arabic language and the text is positioned right to the left.
Volker, Oh I have small business in Web. My small company create web sites and I unfortunately know CSS. :)
Why unfortunately ? -
That idea is good. But is it only the RTL LTR writing? then the selection of the language is a bit oversized, isn't it?
-
stuk, unfortunately, because it is not "serious programming" ;)
-
This is a idea, i don't know if change only RTL LTR to one language and other. Maybe this can be useful for select a correct encoding (but i think its use UTF8).

Ok :P But now 'css' is used everywhere :)

It could be used to display a little flag in the corner for exampkle, but there wqere already topics about that.
-
CSS give many opportunities.
h1{background:#5db331;color:#FFFFFF;text-align:center;}. Colorized header.

The same here. I try to hide that I know a little bit of CSS :-)
-

We all know these kind of things - you were young and needed the money - nevermind :-) :-)
-
p{direction:rtl;text-align:right} I have tested this, its good but trolls can solve the problem by adding the ability to align the page directly like any normal HTML page, there are ten of ways with HTML but WIKI editor doesn't offer them.
