Volker, which browser do you use? I don't see any "delete group update" links in the Qt linux group and I'm on FF

I'm on a Mac with Safari 5. But I tried with Arora (webkit engine) and Firefox and have that links there too. They seem to appear on every group's update page.

Not that I'm aware of. The link is there even in groups where I am not a member (e.g. Qt Russia).

On that page I can only check wether I get email from this group or not. Nothing from the group owners options (invite people, group name/description, policies, etc.) are there for me in the Qt Linux group.

stuk, I thought on the Gene Splicer thingy too, but then Chetan should have that links too, as he is Mad Scientist. Also, I can become moderator of the whole forum, but I did not apply yet :-)

I thought you have to query for that (so ask the trolls)...

For me this 'can become' is mean 'will become', is only for a better write of the phrase.
Ok, i will try some troll for some clarify.

stuk "can become" is mean "can become", if he want, if trolls accept him, etc...

This sounds like a bug, we will have a look. Having a rank is not enough to get moderation powers, they are all manually assigned by a troll admin.

Thanks for digging into it and trying on various browsers and devices, very helpful.

I just tried with IE8 on Windows XP - the same, links are present. Seems to be some weirdness with my account.

                                      Some more stats:

I have the link in all but these two groups:
                                      Site Moderators
                                      Qt Ambassadors

I couldn't check these two groups, as they do not have updates yet:
                                      Mobile Developers
                                      Qt Romania
