Is there a way to "bookmark" a wiki page (other than using the browser)?

tamhanna, what do you mean by SE?

Well if it didn't work for them..
Anyway, some services require different information and not everyone wants to subscribe as a developer. How'd they get around this? Do they have separate profiles and have a button like 'Add DevNet to my Ovi account'? That could work I guess.
I don't mind having separate accounts for all of them. I even have different passwords for all of them and it's no issue.
By the way, in the sister thread they mention it is under development and you will be able to favourite soon :)

It would be very nice to use the same credentials on all nokia sponsored web sites but it doesn't help at all with my original issue. I am more concerned with contents than anything else... I have to say that would be a dream come true to search all them at once and also be able to "save" bookmarks for all in "my nokia library"... and now that I am dreaming... why not have my karma "cross-web site"? maemo+meego+forum nokia+qt ... that would be something!

Tam: I was referring to the implementation. You didn't answer me. Even Live/.Net requires you to sign up at each portal. It's just you can login with the same user/pass at each. Sort of like OpenID -- but closed.
Fcrochik: I don't think they all support OpenID. By the way, it isn't a dream anymore. You saw in sister thread, they had screenshot of it.

What do you mean? You posted on it.

I don't care too much (in this case) to the consumer oriented portions of the web site or even to try to change them. My idea would be to make a "portal" for developers. One place we could find all the information.
For instance I plan to write a wiki that will be something like "from zero to autobuilder on maemo and OBS on meego" for open source qt applications. It is something that could/should be on the qt, the maemo and meego web sites. Ideally the next step would be to add "symbian" to the mix and then we would have one more web site to deal with.
BTW, there is a wiki on how to create qt apps for maemo and symbian. My idea is to expand to include meego and also concentrate on the "publishing" as open source projects.
To be realistic it is probably beyond nokia to do that because, for instance, the meego web site is not fully controlled by nokia. I guess it would have to be created by a "third" party maybe with some incentive from nokia (most likely trough qt).

I think it'd be much more useful to have an extended RDA with more devices, more advertisement, faster download speeds (so it's real-time and we can test games), and more automated testing with it.
The different websites aren't much of a trouble. I mean you sign up once if you're interested and then have the browser save your password. The only thing is you have to be interested to bother signing up rather than just appearing in here because you already have the account set up for you. -

We are discussing improvements that can be made to the BETA Developer Network.... and throwing some other wild ideas out there :)

the main post in this thread is already covered as posted in the first reply .. and is "here":http://developer.qt.nokia.com/forums/viewthread/1446
closing the duplicate thread now also derailed :)
