When I try to add a link in safari, the popup text box doesn't have focus and I've to manually click on it and then type in the URL.
Works OK on FF

Can't reproduce this here (Safari 5.0.2 (6533.18.5)). The popup immediately has focus an the http:// is selected, so that it can be overwritten easily.

ok I upgraded from 5.0.0(xxx) to 5.0.2(7533.18.5) and still same issue ... and I'm on XP

So there seems to be a difference between the Mac version (where I'm on) and the Windows version.
