              Looks like it a "duplicate forum entry" issue, I am doing some testing and will get back soon ....

                  now it works with a different reply. wonder why the first reply didn't work and I kept trying the same reply :) ... but still an issue to be looked into

                        ok one more thing I noticed, this happens when I did this ...

                        1. I added [Solved] prefix to the title of the thread (of some other author) ... I have moderator rights
                        2. Then I tried to reply to the same thread

                        i recollect, these were the same steps I noticed past 2 times I got this error. And just again happened with "this thread":http://developer.qt.nokia.com/forums/viewthread/1245/
