    Ok, well now we have this forum, the maemo.org forums, the forum nokia forums, the meego forums, and not to mention the internal Qt forums.

      I am concerned about the overlap and redundancy especially with the forum Nokia forums.

        u r absolutely right. they should be merged but with functional areas as subjects. then it would be easy to compare all these technologies in on place.

            Forum Nokia already has many well written wiki articles on Qt. Most of them very specific to Mobile Domain.

              This forum replaces the old Qt forum on Labs that desperately needed some attention. So we gain one but loose another.

              Forum Nokia deals with mobile application developers, Maemo / MeeGo deals with that particular platform.

              Qt covers a lot more -> http://doc.qt.nokia.com/4.6/supported-platforms.html

                Thats right Qt covers a lot more but still the fundamentals will remain the same on all these platforms and anything related to that would be a duplication on these wiki's.

                  Other resources on the internet also covering Qt is great, there always has been and always will be. And we will be happy to link to them, work with them and share with them as we have done for a long time already. Especially Forum Nokia for obvious reasons.

                  We want to provide the needed information, motivation and community to get the most out of our cross-platform Qt right here at Qt. Be that original content (like documentation and white papers) or linked to content.

                  You could say that Qt should have built a site like this back in 1998, and I would agree!

                      Arg, buggy CSS: "well written" is supposed to be stroke through in the previous post.

                          My point being, the wiki of forum Nokia is terrible for Qt. It has good content for other subjects but definitively not for Qt.
                          A few trolls, me included, tried to changed the situation but gave up. I am happy to see a wiki here, it is a new hope for a Qt wiki.

                              No, there are specific forums for the mobile platforms. There is also a Qt Mobility and Qt General forums that just so happen to include all the platforms we support, including desktop.
