Qt 5.7, very slow download?

Hi,
Today I wanted to get a look at Qt. However, the download speeds are just horrible. The online installer times out before or after fetching the metadatas, and the offline installer only downloads with about 100 KB/sec (Note that this is not due to my internet connection). Torrent download is even slower.
Is there a maintenance or something, or the servers are just overloaded?

One possibility is that your default mirror has poor performance. Go to the Offline installer downloads section again and click the "(info)" label next to it. Pick a different mirror -- does that help?
(When I download the offline installer, I use a download accelerator to download from multiple mirrors simultaneously)

@JKSH Thanks for the help. However, it mostly does not offer a mirror for me, or when it does, the download from the one mirror it suggests is slow too.

You're welcome.
It takes a while for the new release to propagate to the mirrors around the world. Wait a day or two, and you should have more mirrors to choose from.
