Not sure if I understand this. Aren't they exactly at the same place?

Hmm, correct. Guess I had problems the first time to find the wiki action buttons. On most wikis I know, the action buttons are on the top of the page (mediawiki, moinmoin, twiki). At least those for edit/new topic. Seems little bit far away from the content.
