    • typo: No decsciption
    • General and Desktop: "The title says it all." Seems kinda useless as a description and should probably be removed. I wouldn't be reading the damn description if the title said it all, now would I :P
    • Forum Names that are longer than... would greatly benefit from a tooltip with full name. Or a hover that expands the name vertically.
    • Qt logo at top left links to forums (and not qt.io website).
    • http://www.qt.io/developers/ links to old forum.
    • A link for the forums at the top of qt.io would be appreciated :)

All in all, these new forums are sexy and look like a good foundation, congratulations! Many things are missing, but I'm sure its just a question of time before the little annoyances get fixed.

Ah, good one. Front end man needed to tweak the site skin.

      • Qt logo at top left links to forums (and not qt.io website).

Yes, we need the links to the main Qt services in the top.

      • http://www.qt.io/developers/ links to old forum.

Good catch, that page needs a makeover overall, but this one is simple to do. Fixed two other links at the same time.

It should be under developers, but as said that page needs a radical makeover. I'll talk with our designer on Monday. It probably isn't a big deal, but really needs someone with the right eye.

Thank you, and yes, small things will keep coming. And please continue to point them out to us!

        Some more for the list:

        1. This user reports being unable to mark his/her topic as solved: http://forum.qt.io/topic/51941/qtabwidget-does-not-respect-spacing-from-layout/9
        2. Is it possible to mark a specific post (or even multiple posts) as the solution to a thread?
        3. Suggestion: In http://forum.qt.io/unread, have another copy of the "Mark as Read" button at the bottom of the page. Currently, after I scan down the page for topics to read, I have to go back to the top to mark them all.

I noticed this in several places. The mark as solved feature relies on moderator rights, which isn't good.
I'm looking at making an alternative to it now. The best one would be to add a button to add a 'solved' tag to the post. This would be a custom plugin. I just need some time to tinker around with the system :)

I don't see that option. But by voting on answers, you get the desired effect.

This I'll have to give over to the front end designer. I think it's a simple style question, but need to make sure.

I'm not sure about that. In a long thread, there's no easy way to find the post with the highest number of votes. The discussion might continue for many posts, after a "solution" is found.

It would be nice if there's a way to highlight a particular post (e.g. a tick symbol like StackOverflow, or a coloured background for the post). This forum applies a coloured background, and shows a copy of the answer at the top of the page: https://lavag.org/topic/18798-suggestions-for-improving-2d-array-access-speed/

There's the "sort by" option right below the OP. Just select the most votes option there.

That probably is doable as a plugin. As our time is limited, we need a thread on the website category with ideas for implementation. There we can pick up what is most needed.
At this time adding a 'solved' tag for the OP is the most pressing need.
