[Suggestion] Status message pane on Forum

Just saw someone loose his wiki page edit on a server restart ... is it feasible to add a sort of sticky bar/status pane all across forum for general broadcast messages?

Before the upgrade a message in the top of the windows was show, but only for the user that refresh the page.

We had it up for around 5 minutes, we could extend it to 10 minutes or more I guess?

I think 15 to 30 minutes would fit better. Also in that period the site could be kind of semi-closed: Let ongoing edits finish, but do not allow new editing/posting.

Yes, the time of message is very short. Maybe some message a day before and message 30 minutes before is useful for prevent lost data.
