    Hmm... I didn't receive anything. Possibly because I've been blacklisted... :'(

    I've just reported Eddy for reporting me. Waiting now to see if I get anything.

        @JKSH thx for reporting me too.
        So this feature is working too. I will make a sticky post to inform all devnet users they can use the report link to let us know about inappropriate content. This gives moderators some slack since everyone kan keep an eye on things again.

        This link didn't do anything for the last year or so.

        Thanks Tero for this one too!

          Moderators should get an email on the email address they used to register on devnet.
          I don't expect JKSK to be banned or anything like that. Based on the report mail moderators can take actions like banning (much more fun than deleteting spam, believe me!) or asking users to act differently on the forums.

          @JKSH can you confirm receiving mails? I've got 3 now.

            Hmm... I haven't received any reports despite being a moderator. I've received notifications about new posts in this thread though.

            There might be a bug in the site code.

            I'm retiring for today; I'll post back if I get anything.

                Just to be clear about things. I've received mails like this :

                [
                Subject: Post reported in Qt Project forums

                JKSH just reported a post written by Eddy in:
                Qt Project forums

                The reason(s) for the report:
                Other

                Additional notes from JKSH:
                Test report

                The post can be found at:
                http://qt-project.org/forums/viewreply/173231/

                Contents of reported post:
                bq. Good news:
                I reported JKSH even while he humbly asked not to be reported and i received
                the mail from devnet.

                Also JKSH was reported by andreyc. So he is on the dark side already...
                Being reported twice .... ;-)

                @JKSH
                @andreyc
                Did you both recieve the mails too?
                ]

                I will ask Tero to check your moderator powers when you give feedback about this kind of emails.

                  Nope, I don't have any "Post reported" emails
                  Only "Someone just posted in Qt Project forums"
                  I will report one more post here.

                            Hi,
                            This thread is too long, so I didn't read it.

                            But the list of moderators is per sub-forum. So if you got the mail you are a website sub-forum moderator.
                            And there seem to also be old moderators, who aren't around anymore, on the lists. (including four names I know from previous life, but haven't seen around here)

                            I'll do a cleanup of the moderators, but I have a feeling we should have a moderator meeting on IRC and start using the moderator group for closed discussions too.

                              But please don't report yourselves just to test :)
                              You mail about 8 people at the same time as well.

                              It does work
