    Hi guys

It's a pleasure for me to see Turkish programmers in Qt forums :)

I have had developing a couple of applications for a Turkish company. They asked me to translate everything to their native language. So I give them all .ts files and a tiny documentation about Qt Linguist and asked them to translate application themselves. Fortunately there was no serious problem. The main disturbing thing is that there is no Turkish translation of Qt available. So internals of framework appears in English which is not a desired situation for my clients.

Have you any plan to contribute Qt for Turkish translations?

        So good ;)

AFAIK Qt 4 development has been stopped and it's no more available to contribute to translations. Also 5.0.0 has been released recently. So the only option is to contribute to 5.1.0 release.

You can download translation templates of Qt 5.0 from "chaos.troll.no/~buddenha/qt-l10n/":http://chaos.troll.no/~buddenha/qt-l10n/ and start to work. I'm assuming you know how to work with Qt Linguist. On the other case, you may take a look at "this manual":http://qt-project.org/doc/qt-4.8/linguist-manual.html. When completed, get a clone from official git repository of Qt at "gitorious":http://qt.gitorious.org/qt and follow "this instructions":http://qt-project.org/contribute to get your changes in action for next release. If you have any problem contact me please.

        Sincerely

        Soroush Rabiei
