flareGet - A full featured multi-threaded multi-segment downloader, for linux, is out. The downloader has been written purely using Qt libraries. It supports multisegment downloading for downloading acceleration, pausing and many more features.

The source code is still undocumented. Its no use uploading there yet.

Perhaps, the app might not be open source.

Actually, i have no plans to port it to windows, as lot of downloaders are already available for windows.

Then you should adjust you description, because form Sourceforge:
"flareGet is a full featured multi-threaded and multisegment download manager for Linux, Windows and Mac. It supports browser integration through addons and many more features."
