As far as I know, the emails that are sent out don't contain any changes in formatting or anything that tries to format them specifically for email. It's just the raw text from the reply field that gets sent (which includes any formatting characters, etc.)

It's a bit annoying. I would prefer HTML e-mails or stripping tags in plain text messages.

You might consider opening at feature request on Jira.

Yes, but let's wait for couple of days to see if someone for Qt Dev Net team will join this discussion and if other people share my opinion :)

FWIW, I'd vote for it, if the option were there.

              Hi leon.anavi,

Is it possible for you to forward those emails to me ?

I don't see any error from log.

Hi, I've just sent you couple of emails via Qt Dev Net. As you can see tag blockquote and underscore prefix and suffix for italic are included at the plain text of the e-mails.

Should I report it at Jira as Mark suggested?

                10x,
                Leon

Probably a good idea to report it, yes.
                  If you do, please:

add a reference to this topic in your bug report, and

add a link the bugreport in thiis topic.

You are welcome. Please support by voting at Jira :) I marked it as a bug because in my opinion Qt Dev Net specific syntax highlighting should not be included at emails.

Gurudutt, do you have any news about this issue? Did you manage to reproduce it?

                            Thanks,
                            Leon
