    there is only a pending request but i'm still not a member of the group!

      The owners of the group should approve your request.

      Btw in my opinion it is better to move the thread to the "Beta Testing":http://qt-project.org/forums/viewforum/5/ forum as your question is to related to development.

          I have tried to check who the owner is. There might be a problem with his account. I will inform some Trolls.

              Maybe the administrators can change the user group settings for the future. There is a setting that is on by default : new users should be accepted by the group owner, but I don't see why this is necessary.
              [edit: just checked by joining the group and it works already, Eddy]
