Razor-qt desktop

I'm not involved in the "project":http://razor-qt.org/, just discovered and seems really promising to me (even if I don't imagine myself leaving KDE).

Looks like a KDE ripoff to me. I mean: even the clock on the desktop is directly from there...

It is interesting to understand reasons and benefits of using a pure Qt desktop instead of a more complex one. By the way, probably the share the same widgets of the KDE, after all even OSX can, isn't it?

The strange thing about razor is that they are using QWidgets while doing fancy painting.
