Doesn't look so. Today I had to re-login twice on my laptop. I suspect the different IPs due to the mobile data connection to cause this.

Weird. It does work for me, and it has been for awhile already again.

I had to re-login just a few minutes ago. Surely due to a new IP address from the mobile provider.

On my home computer with a dynamic ip it happens a lot more often then at work where we have a fixed ip. But still I get logged out in both places as it seems randomly at least once or twice a day.

We're trying a few things in every release on this uncomfortable issue - but it turns out clearing the developer.qt.nokia.com cookies is the best remedy so far, while we work on a solution that is automatic.

Re-re deleting the cookies seems to do the trick, 3 days and still logged in everywhere :) \0/

The same here, including changing IP addresses several times - hooray!

So, seems like the last login/logout issue are solved now?

After getting rid of the cookies I am logged in at two different computers at least since my last post to this thread (Aug 13). IP addresses are changing all the time (once a day). This week I have been travel and the IPs changed for sure between hotel and customer's place. Back home I am still logged in. So no effect by changing IPs.
I guess I am logged in for more than 14 days. And this is not a complaint ;-)

This problem seems to be back again. I had to log-in yesterday and today.

Yeah, the issue is back for me too. It has been happening again for at least a week or so.

Hum, looking through the change log of the last release (a week ago) doesn't have the answer, we will dig deeper...

Marius, just to close the loop. I do not know, if there has been an adjustment for this problem in the mean time.
However, I have cleared the cookies of my browser mid of last week. This has probably solved the problem. My log-in seems to stay permanent since then.

We're all hands on deck for "Qt DevDays":https://qt.nokia.com/qtdevdays2011 at the moment so I haven't had the chance to work much with this, so that is good news koahnig :)

                                Gurudutt,

just for clarification. Is it possible to be logged in at 2 PC at the same time?

I guess the whole discussion started that people had to log in alternating at work and at home. Assuming that the other PC is not running, this will result not in simultaneous logins at QtDev.

However, I have a laptop and my desktop side by side. I have log into devnat at the laptop without a problem presumably because the desktop was in energy saving mode. When going back to the desktop, I was not logged in anymore. However, the laptop is still running. So this would be 2 simultaneous logins.

Is it possible the forum is tracing your external IP adress
@home and @office is two different ip's. while two computors @office is one ip

I can't see any reason for this, just a shot in the dark

@andsun this thread is 3 years old, not relevant anymore. Except of course it happens with the new forum too.

It popped up in your unread, as we migrated. Everything looks new and shiny, and the system thinks everyone is logging on for the first time (which we technically are, as the login changed to Qt Account).
