Unicode symbols

I'm searching for free unicode symbols, such as FontAwesome unicode symbols. In particular I'm searching for a barcode-scan and barcode-scan running in multiscan-mode. Currently I'm using FontAwesome with \uf02a and \uf029. But I don't appreciate them. Du you know any other fonts und/or unicode symbols?
EDIT:
I noticed that I can also display images using base64 strings. Can I do that with Qt ???
