Hello, Qt 4.7.0 has just been added to the OpenEmbedded build system. This provides an easy way to build Qt into embedded Linux images. We are also working on SDK generation, and hope to have that complete in the next couple weeks.

          Is there a plan for qt4-embedded-gles_4.7.1.bb ?

I did not have any plans to add such a recipe, but will see if it can be done easily.

One think I'm not quite clear on ... it seems that Qt Quick (QML) currently performs better with the raster engine than the GL engine. Perhaps I don't have things set up quite right, but wondering if others have made the same observation?

What are the main differences of both versions ?

For the 4.6.2 qt4-embedded recipe there where few differences.
I created a building qt4-enbeded recipe for gles version because the qt4-embedded-gles recipe causes some unresolved loops for our oe images.

Are there many new, different features between the qt 4.7.1 and 4.6.2 build (recipes) ?
