I can't reset the maximumsize of my mainwindow

I developed a project in Mac Qt which transplanted from windows qt, it has complex UI,it has a mainwindow, I want to reset the maximumsize of mainwindow,the old maximumsize of mainwindow is 2137px x 837px,I change the maximumsize of mainwindow to 1052px x 700px,when I pull the window in .ui file,the maximumsize of mainwindow go back 2137px x 837px, I don't know why, can you give me some tips?

What do you mean by that?
How does your app behave when being executed? Can your resize it over the maximum size?
