Is there a way to manage front and back camera at the same time ?

Hi to all,
I need to know if there is the possibility to manage the two camera of the device (where present) in the same time. Supposing that Ineed to develop something like picture-in-picture.
Are there some limitations to this in the hardware or someother else or at least theorically it is possible ?
