Upgrade Qt's EcmaScript?

According to the Qt 5.11 docs, the version of JavaScript currently being used by Qt is revision 5, which came out in 2009 and lacks a lot of modern JavaScript features such as classes. Is there any hope of Qt upgrading to a more recent version of JavaScript? Can I put in a suggestion somewhere?
