[Moved] Qt tutorial for basic database-driven app for symbian

I have been trying to do the tutorials included in the (Qt_SDK_Win_offline_v1_1_3_en.exe) installation, but it throws out a lot of errors and the simulator doesn't start. I am an absolute newbie and knows very little about C++. The version of Qt Creator is 2.3.0 based on Qt 4.7.4. I have re-installed and ran the maintenance tool, done the updates and been reading up as much I could, but it just doesn't seem to work. Do I need a different version of SDK or what? My pc runs on Windows 7. Maybe someone can suggest a good tutorial that is up-to-date and that works? I'm very pressed for time and will be very grateful for help.

At the moment the latest version of the Qt SDK is 1.1.3, so yours must be up to date. Try to understand why the errors appear and then try to fix them.
