Playing a video without using VideoOutput in QML

Can any one of you give a sample example to playing the video without using VideoOutput or VideoItem in QML.
Because I am using software adaptation in my Qt code. It not support VideoOutput.

I Struck with the problem. Any one give the solution for this.

You should add what version of Qt you are using,
what device you are targeting,
what OS you are running.

I am using Qt 5.8.0 in Ubuntu 14.04.
I need to Play a video in QML without using VideoOutput.

What I asked is about your target device. Depending on it some solutions might not be feasible.
