QListWidgetItem::setToolTip alter the order in unsorted QListWidget.

I have a unsorted QListWidget with some items with your tooltip.
If I modify on item tooltip with setToolTip, the item is automatically positioned at the end of the list.
And the curious about behaviour is that in the same list if I make a setTooltip with the same text as it already has, then the position does not change.If the QListWidget is a sorted list the item remains in the position after a setTooltip.
Is it normal to change the position of an item when modifying its tooltip?

Sounds pretty unusual. Can you provide a minimal compilable example that shows that behaviour ?
By the way, which version of Qt are you using ?
On which platform ?
