The issue of online installer

I'm the user of Mac OS. I used QT online installer to install QT. However, it didn't seems to work. It stopped at the half of the progress bar"retrieving meta information from remote repository". It have installed for one and a half hour!!!
Anyone else getting this problem?

Use this tool to select another repository: https://github.com/JKSH/QtSdkRepoChooser

If the Online installer keeps hanging at "retrieving meta information", try using the Offline installer.

Anyone else getting this problem?

People far from Finland have this problem (and other related problems).

Unfortunately, the Qt SDK Repo Chooser only helps the part after metadata has finished downloading :( The metadata itself is always downloaded from download.qt.io, not from a mirror.
