Unsolved Qt Creator Parse Context always Obj-C instead of C++
-
Hello,
everytime I open a C++ file, it is recognized as Obj-C. This is really annoying, because it bloats my windows with semantic issues.
Is there a way to prevent Qt Creator to parse Obj-C or generally disable Obj-C?
I am using QtCreator 4.6.0.
Thanks

- Which platform are you on (Mac?!)
- Which project type are you using?
- Which extension does your C++ file have?
- Have you enabled the Clang Code Model? (Help > Plugins > Clang Code Model)?

I am using Ubuntu 16.04 with an Existing Project (Makefile). The C++ file is a .cpp file. And yes, I have enabled the Clang Code Model and I am using clang-tidy. Obviously, the clang code model resets the parse context when I change the file.
Thanks

Hi @silau,
Interesting. I have nearly the opposite problem (C files treated as C++): QTCREATORBUG-20039 You can join me there, it seems there is really a bug :)
